Spring Shoe Trends
Spring 2017 Trends Temika Styles This spring is a little different for me considering I’m in Sioux Falls, SD. But I am super excited for no more snow! Part of the excitement is because I don’t like being cold, but more importantly I can shop for spring attire and I am so excited. I have started researching upcoming spring trends and they are beautified and girly…lately I have been into more of the girly things oppose to my previous year style which was more edgy. The fact that I’m looking a little early means I can do some online shopping and get some good deals. Shoes are a big deal to me! Shoes can make or break an outfit …change the entire outfit’s style. So, I figured to get ahead of the game by checking out and shopping trends early. This year I have noticed that “casual” is trending.
Causal trends
1. Tennis/athletic shoes
2. Cute oxfords
3. 1-2 inch heels
Top three trends above are super easy to dress, especially if you have an active jobs these spring trends will be very beneficial to you. I love tennis shoes, especially for long days when I am running tons of errands. Or if I just oversleep and need something quick to throw on. Puma, New Balance, Adidas and of course Nike shoe brands have really stepped their shoe designs up this year. The I’ve seen several rose gold, powder pink and nude colored tennis shoes and I’m in love with them. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any cute ones in the stores out here, but they are easy to find online.
My favorite way to wear tennis shoes…besides the obvious; with athletic wear, is to wear them with dresses. On the opposite end of wearing athletic shoes, there are heels. Some of these casual styles include booties, open toed sandals, and peep-toed heels. I love the open toe sandals. I cannot wait until it stops snowing so I can get to stepping out again.
Oxfords are also trending, which I think are super chic, especially for the office. The most popular colors are not very springy but they are cute...black and brown are the most popular colors, but other colors are also available. Jeans and a blazer or dress with a cute cardigan are simple outfits that can me dressed up easily with a cute oxford shoe. Oxfords as well I have only been able to find them online. Which has lately been my go to option for shopping considering South Dakota shopping is not so great. I am super geeked to start my shopping for spring. Stay tuned as I continue to post about my other spring trends that I have found!
