Inside Scoop : J.R. Walker and Out The Box Fashion Show: V2
Today I bring to you a very special interview I was able to conduct. This weekend there will be a fabulous fashion show being held at the Lightbox Studio in Minneapolis from 5-10pm. The fashion show is titled Out The Box: V2, which features the street wear fashion series. This event really hits my heart because it will be in my home state of Minnesota. Unfortunately, I will not be able to make it to the fashion show due to moving, but I was still lucky enough to connect with J.R. Walker, owner of Royal Krew Productions and Kapella Studios located in Northeast Minneapolis for an interview and bring everyone the inside scoop on the show and its coordinator!
Before diving into the fashion world J.R. Walker, coordinator of the Out The Box fashion show worked as a property manager for residential and commercial properties and choose to join the fashion industry after creating a promo modeling group which paved his way into the fashion industry. The show is presented by one of his companies “Royal Krew Productions” which specializes in productions, coordinating and promoting for all types of events, including fashion shows. Mr. Walker also owns Kapella Studios, which is a creative heaven located in Northeast Minneapolis (which I will defiantly be checking out in the near future). J.R walker and his Royal Krew staff are defiantly making head way in the Twin Cities, when asked “What has been one of your biggest success” he replied letting me know of an event he created in 2014, which was the largest outdoor basketball event in the Twin Cities! The event had over 200 players and 5,000 spectators in the span of a weekend. The event was held at the Minnesota State Capitol! I am defiantly impressed by the amount of professionalism and passion behind his work in all his ventures and life overall. I know the fashion show WILL BE THE PLACE TO BE THIS WEEKEND! Out The Box: V2 will feature 10 streetwear designers, including one of J.R Walkers favorite designers: Krewface Culture Clothing! All will designers be showcasing their trending fashion and lifestyle looks that you will not want to miss! I am super excited to see the outcome of the show, I know It will be amazing…I have been following the show’s social media pages and I do notice that tickets are selling fast, so if you have not purchased yours yet, there may still be a chance.
